Dakotafish // Jitter

I have recently been swamped with emails and music from both my email inbox and SoundCloud. I’m thrilled to be able to say this, as I love hearing from these pursuing upcoming artists. The other day Dakotafish gave me a follow on twitter. I was curious to see who they where and checked out their page, then subsequently visited their website and got in touch.
Dakotafish feels somewhat familiar but I can’t quite put my finger on it. Maybe it’s the funky Eighties groove or soaring falsetto vocals that lead singer Mike so effortlessly uses. What ever it is, this duo knows how to well balance the multiple layers of sound that they use creating a welcoming form of music. They are currently holed up in their studio finishing a bunch of new songs for a full length LP that will be released soon! After they finish this project they will be playing plenty of shows. So go support them, and tell them we sent you.
The group has released a single through Bandcamp, displaying their two most recent tracks “Jitter” and “Impossible Histories.” Both hold their own sound but revolve around similar vibes. These two catchy precious, synth-pop tracks are definitely worth checking out. If you find a little time in your busy lives, you should definitely search them up and get both tracks for free [HERE] at their Bandcamp page.
Both of these tracks will be on my constant rotation…
